Reducing the inequality of luck: Keynote address at the 2015 Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability National Conference

Abstract

Bruce Bonyhady AM is the inaugural Chair of the Board of the National Disability Insurance Agency, an independent statutory agency, whose role is to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). He is one of the driving forces behind the NDIS and has been deeply involved in its conception, design, and now governance. He is an economist who has worked in government, funds management, and insurance, and has more than 25 years' experience in the disability sector.
