Abstract

The construction industry cannot resist the promise of lean production, whose impact on quality, cost, and safety are well-documented. This study investigates the impact of lean construction (LC) on construction labour productivity, with a focus on project/activity levels where LC takes off. It addresses the call to take account of production system analysis in researching construction sector productivity. Keywords like lean construction, productivity, and similar were sought in Scopus, yielding 25 relevant studies.
