Oxford University Press | Published : 2018

It has been a bumper two-year period for intellectual property legislation, especially at the international and European levels. Coming into force since the previous edition, and included in this edition, are the Marrakesh Treaty on facilitating access to works for the blind, and Article 3 lbis, the Annex and the Appendix to the TRIPS Agreement. Also included are the EU Directive on Trade Secrets, the codified EU Regulation on the EU Trade Mark, and the EU Directive and EU Regulation giving effect to the Marrakesh Treaty. At the domestic level, important new provisions on unjustified threats have been introduced into the UK copyright, registered designs, patents and trade mark statutes.
