BACKGROUND: Daughters of the Floating Brothel is a radio drama that was created with women prisoners at Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre (BWCC), Queensland. This work is situated within the fields of Applied Theatre, Prison Theatre and Performance Studies, and was produced in response to the question: How does radio drama as a form engage women prisoners through process and performance?
