Thomas Cochrane is an academic advisor and senior lecturer in educational technology. His research interests are mobile learning, web 2.0 and communities of practice. He has implemented over 40 mobile learning projects with a recent focus on smartphones and tablets to enable student generated content and learning contexts. Thomas’s presentation showcased how mobile device technologies (such as smartphones and iPads) along with a teacher development framework can transform learning.
