Abstract
The world premiere of a work by Australian composer and soprano Helen Thomson dealing with issues of Australian Indigenous dispossession and war, ‘A Tasmanian Requiem’, performed at the Hobart Theatre Royal in 2018. This work, a contmporary oratorio for voices and brass was performed with members of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
