Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To investigate, via network meta-analyses (NMA), the comparative effectiveness and safety of different newer generation antidepressants in children and adolescents with a diagnosed major depressive disorder (MDD).
