Abstract

In Data Science, we usually encounter High-dimensional data. In this situation, the Classical Regression method usually cannot perform well because it is impossible to include all covariates in the model since the number of a parameter to be estimated is larger than the sample size. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (Lasso) method is one of the methods which can deal with this problem. Lasso regression perform the selection of covariates so that only the most influential covariates are used in the model.
