Abstract
The authors regret that upon further inspection of the data from this study, although the four acute phase proteins reported in the paper were correct in ng/ml, the remaining cytokine values had been written in pg/ml but reported as ng/ml. Therefore, the mean, SD, and ranges reported in Tables 2 and 3 of the manuscript have values for cytokines that are 1000× too high. The acute phase proteins (APP, first four rows of Tables 2 and 3) are all still correct. The remaining cytokines needed to be reduced by 1000× in order to be correctly reported in ng/ml. We have corrected the values in Tables 2 and 3 (attached) and continued to report in units of ng/ml, but simply divided the cytokine values b..
