Abstract

Managing our way through the time of COVID-19 has required us to prioritise the common good over self and private interests. This may seem obvious and reasonable; however, it’s not necessarily easy for a society that has steadily progressed towards individualism, rewarding independence rather than interdependence. However, some individuals will find themselves better positioned to respond to the call to ‘do their bit’.
