Abstract

I. STRAIN AMPLITUDE The first inconsistency only impacts Fig. 1 of this paper, where the numerical h0 of Eq. (28) is compared to the analytic approximation of Eq. (29). Although Eqs. (28) and (29) are correct, they assume slightly different definitions for the strain amplitudes and should not be directly compared: the latter has been averaged over source orientation, while the former has not (cf. Eq. (12) in [1]). As a consequence, the analytic amplitude of Eq. (29) should be multiplied by a factor of √2π to be directly comparable to Eq. (28). This only impacts Fig. 1 in this paper, which we correct here in Fig. 1. (Figure Presented).
