The value of land has been long acknowledged by economists for its multifaceted utilities, both monetisable and non-monetisable. Considering the import role of land in the welfare of the society and individuals, the process of distribution of rights to use, own, and dispose land has been carefully designed under the guidance of theories of distributive justice.
