Abstract

In ‘Governing the health risks of climate change’ we posited the main requirements for successful responses to growing climate change-related health risks are: first, systems-based solutions where partnerships transcending sectors are paramount, and second, structural supports such as health leadership, sufficient resources and responsive governments. Five years later, these core issues remain top concerns because of insufficient attention and investment.
