Abstract

If the worlds we embody are also an effect of the ways we understand the spaces and times in which we live, how might crossings of difference propose intersectional frames for the cross-hatching of agencies and the recalibration of forgotten and lost histories? Probing the question of how dynamic exchanges between dance, architecture and public space generate intersectional crossings of culture, place memories and animate and inanimate life, Raheem, Brown and Roy perform three distinct choreographic modes of crossing through text and video image.
