Abstract

Aims: To better understand the longstanding inequalities concerning alcohol and tobacco use, we aimed to quantify the effect of household economic security on alcohol and tobacco consumption and expenditure. Design: Longitudinal analysis using data from the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia survey (2001–2018). Setting: Australia.
