Interface of property and knowledge-based economic development

Abstract

A knowledge-based economic development, through the proliferation of innovation, clustering of high-tech industries and companies, and wider diffusion and adoption of high technologies, has been appraised as the most effective way of leveraging productivity. The potential urban consequences, and in particular their effects on the property industry and property market dynamics, however, haven't been fully discussed and debated.
