Abstract
In many parts of the world double glazing has proven to be an important passive technique to improve indoor comfort levels without the need of air conditioning or other less sustainable devices. However, few studies have been conducted in Peru to measure the efficiency of double glazing. For that reason, we have carried out a research in Arequipa, Peru's second largest city, the capital of the Arequipa Region and a World Heritage site, located amidst the driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert ecosystem.
