Abstract

Left Write Hook follows seven women across eight weeks as they come together to share, struggle, rage & reclaim themselves through a unique program combining creative writing and boxing. Designed and facilitated for women by a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Donna Lyon. Left Write Hook opens the survivors’ pandora’s box and creates a space to fight back. It is a story of unexpected connections and incredible resilience. For these women. Survival may be lifelong, but silence is no longer an option.
