Abstract
This chapter shows that how health promotion and medical education juxtapose their respective challenges of deciding what is best practice and how resources may be accessed and used to facilitate this. Health promotion resources are frequently considered as leaflets, audiovisual materials, models and teaching packs, but today there is much more. The need to ensure that students and teachers relate to local resources and social context is paramount to enable health promotion to be effective.
