Abstract

Violent atmospheres are volatile mixes of socio-political and economic processes as well as biophysical ruptures that encompass surficial and gaseous matter across scales. Frequently driven by political-economic crisis, violent atmospheres are increasingly anthropogenically constructed and affectively experienced.
