Adaptive Field Oriented Control of an Induction Machine

Abstract

This paper presents a scheme for adaptive field oriented control of a current fed induction machine. The control is based on an extended Kalman filter for estimating the machine/load parameters, the machine flux and field angle. A constrained non-linear one-step ahead control algorithm generates the stator currents applied to the machine.
