Reflections on a year at IJPN and thoughts for the future

Abstract

As our first exciting year as consultant editors draws to an end we have come together again to reflect on our experience. From our perspective the year was an excellent one. Subscriptions are increasing, the number of articles submitted for review is increasing and we have organized our first conference for the International Journal of Palliative Nursing as consultant editors. Articles have been received for review from a wide range of countries, clinical settings and topics, which bridge research, evidence-based practice, comment and opinion – a nice mix in our view.
