Looking to the future

Abstract

The start of a new year is a time for resolutions, good intentions and change. At the International Journal of Palliative Nursing there have been a number of changes since it’s conception in 1995. The journal has developed in terms of the diversity of writers and editorial board members and in the breadth and scope of the subjects presented. Many of these changes result from the stewardship of Susie Wilkinson as Editor-in-Chief, a position Susie resigned from at the end of 2002. We would like to thank Susie for her significant contribution to the journal over the past 4 years and wish her well on behalf of all the IJPN editorial board and readers.
