Abstract
In January of this year, the Gomeroi People claim (NC11/6; NSD2308/2011) was registered over more than 11 million hectares of northern NSW, becoming one of the largest registered claims in Australia, and the second largest filed by NSW & ACT rep body NTSCORP. The Gomeroi claimant group includes most of the Aboriginal population of the NSW North-West Slopes & Plains, represented by a procedural description of 114 apical ancestors.
