Abstract

In the Introduction to Innovation, Technology and Corporate Law, the editors outline the context for the book and its focus on the impact of technology and innovation on corporate regulation and governance. The Introduction notes that, although technology will inevitably require modifications to the existing legal and regulatory framework, the chapters in the book suggest that it is premature to predict the ultimate obsolescence of human-driven companies and corporate law and that it is likely that technology will continue to operate alongside, and enhance, the existing framework.
