Health Information Work: A Scoping Review

Abstract

The work of managing health data, health information and health knowledge is fundamental in healthcare systems, as increasingly they are transformed by information and communication technologies. However, this work is not acknowledged or understood as commonly as other kinds of work in healthcare, even though it has been described in scholarly writing for five decades.
