Abstract

Educational settings are becoming more collaborative and leadership-rich environments with increased interest in the work of middle leaders and teacher leaders. Graduate teachers are faced with entering early childhood settings and schools that expect educators to lead early in their careers. While there are programs to support leadership development in teachers, there is often a reluctance by teachers to take on leadership roles.
