Abstract
Working with health research information is an evolving and specialised area of health data, information, and knowledge management. The individuals who perform these roles have been characterised as being an emerging third tribe, sitting between and complementing the research work of scientists and administrators. Their specialist information management work facilitates the research process, intersecting at many points and stages in the research lifecycle.
