Abstract
A presentation for the Agency for Cultural Diplomacy, “Empowering waves of history” was presented as part the virtual conference Bodenwieser-Mandukić: Körper_Kultur#игра ~Tanz and the Panel session Diplomacy on Stage: Arts_Sciences_Cultural Diplomacy2030. This presentation on the life and work of Gertrud Bodenwieser (b.Vienna 1890-d.Sydney 1957) addressed the role of what Brown and Kampe (2018) call the 'soma-ecstatic' in her oeuvre and cultural and corporeal formation of her dancers. The presentation, hosted by the Austrian Cultural Forum Belgrade, marked its 20th anniversary.
