Abstract

Creative arts therapists are qualified practitioners who utilize specific art forms for the therapeutic benefit of individuals and groups. Creative arts therapies are practiced globally in diverse sociopolitical, cultural, and therapeutic environments and approaches to creative art therapies vary according to their rich contexts. This chapter discusses how inclusion health can be one way of describing the process of bridging that occurs between groups of people through the accrual of creative arts capital.
