Abstract

Seymour Cottage was constructed 165 years ago and was the home of Sidney Seymour and his family for over 60 years. It is considered by Professor Miles Lewis to be ‘one of the most interseting buildings in Victoria’. Made of meranti doors imported from Singapore, it is now listed as one of 104 pre-fabricated buildings remaining in Australia.
