Abstract

This report presents findings on the impact of the Early Years Education Program (EYEP) on vulnerable and at-risk children and their primary caregivers after 36 months in the program. Australian children who live with multiple risk factors in their early years have compromised cognitive and non-cognitive skills; as demonstrated for example in our initial report (Tseng et al., 2017). In this report we document how participation for 36 months in EYEP can effectively reverse harms and restore the learning trajectories of Australia’s most vulnerable children.
