Abstract

This volume is an offshoot of a regional collaboration among six institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. Researchers from the University of Melbourne's Informal Urbanism Research Hub and Melbourne Centre for Cities coordinated the regular international dialogues with their Asian collaborators, namely: BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) (Dhaka, Bangladesh); Karachi Urban Lab at IBA University (Pakistan); Hyderabad Urban Lab (India); De La Salle University-Jesse M.
