Abstract
Mainstream research on public sector innovation in Indonesia shows that innovation is a prerequisite for economic growth and development; however, is constrained by the limited capacity of human resources, namely the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This study has the main objective: “To problematize the dominant perspective of ASN on public sector innovation in Indonesia.” The study uses an interpretive approach through in-depth interviews with 24 Indonesian civil servants.
