Abstract
With close to 15,000 new diagnoses in 2022, lung cancer is the 5th most diagnosed form of cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related death in Australia. Whilst clinical advancements in cancer treatment has improved survival outcomes for patients, the heterogeneity of the disease remains a clinical challenge. Particularly, mutations in KRAS are common, and historically, KRAS-mutant lung cancer has been difficult to treat with impaired responses to classical therapeutic strategies, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
