Abstract

Background Little information exists on the proportion and characteristics of Australian primary care patients not attaining low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) goals. This study sought to describe characteristics, LDL-C levels, and treatment patterns in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) and those otherwise at moderate/high risk of ASCVD.
