Abstract

The significant rise in e-commerce and the subsequent surge in home deliveries are recognized as the primary drivers of increased freight vehicle activity in urban areas, leading to various adverse effects. Consequently, academia and industry have put forth several innovative last-mile logistics solutions to tackle the growing concerns associated with heightened urban freight activity. Among these solutions, Crowd-shipping (CS) stands out.
