Performing Climates

Abstract

This chapter introduces Performing Climates, reveals the messy relations involved in thinking about theatre and climate change and outlines the process of writing the book. We acknowledge influences on book, including the contribution of important First Nations thinkers, and outline the key concepts of the work: performance as compost, biospherical theatre and relations with the more-than-human elements of performance.
