Abstract

This dataset contains numerical simulations covering the time period 22 February 2022 - 07 March 2022, corresponding to very heavy rainfall on the east coast of Australian and catastrophic flooding in Lismore. The simulations are run with the ACCESS model, with a horizontal grid of 2.2 km.The dataset consists of four versions of the same model:Flood-c: Free running version nested in ERA5 (no reinitialization)Flood-r: Restart version nested in ERA5 – model reinitialised every 24 hours with 12-hour spin-upFlood-barra: Restart version nested in BARRA1 reanalysisFlood-barra-soil: Restart version nested in ERA5, but with BARRA1 reanalysis soil moistureModel variables saved are:uas - 10 metre wind..
