Abstract

3D scene understanding in industrial environments is crucial for effective operation and maintenance (O&M) and asset monitoring. However, accurate asset detection and localisation face significant challenges due to asset diversity and scene complexity in these environments. Existing learning-based methods rely heavily on labelled training datasets, which are limited for industrial settings due to asset variability and intricate geometries.
