Abstract
In the Australian educational landscape, there is an increasing push toward integrating Indigenous knowledges and culturally responsive pedagogy across the curriculum. This shift stems from the national commitment to reconciliation and addressing the historical injustices faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. These shifts, however, are constrained by systemic challenges, including teacher shortages, burnout, and the increasing pressure of standardized assessment.
