Abstract
The wavelength tunable repetition rate doubled pulse generation through a nonlinear optical loop mirror (NOLM) was described. The generation of repetition rate doubled pulse trains was presented at tunable wavelength using a NOLM made of standard dispersion shifted fibers (DSF) at 76 GHz. Results showed that the repetition rate was doubled by changing the state of polarization (SOP) and the power of the pump signal inside the loop.
