Generation of entangled states and error protection from adiabatic avoided level crossings

Abstract

A discussion on generation of entangled states and error protection from adiabatic avoided level crossings was presented. Construction of a different master equation was done that seamlessly merges error protection/detection dynamics for quantum information with the environment couplings responsible for producing the errors. Entanglement production was shown to be unaffected if the system-environment coupling was of the type that induced 'motion narrowing'. © Oxford University Press 2002.
