OADM with a multiple phase-shifted FBG for a wavelength-interleaved millimeter-wave fiber-radio system

The use of a single fiber bragg gratings (FBG) was demonstrated with a novel design incorporating multiple phase shifts in the optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) of a wavelength interleaved networks. A single grating with a novel design to achieve a reflection profile matching that of carrier and corresponding sideband wavelengths was demonstrated. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the FBG in dropping the required carrier wavelength and sideband.
