Abstract
The transport and distruption of Bose-Einstein condensates in one-dimensional optical lattice and three-dimensional harmonic trap were discussed. The effects of the temporal period of the Bloch oscillations on the production of solitons and vortex were also discussed. It was observed that the condensates performed regular Bloch oscillation, for low atom densities and inertial forces. It was also observed that the center-of-mass motion had distrupted the internal structure of the the condensate by the generation of vortex rings and solitons.
