Endotracheal intubation versus face mask for newborns resuscitated with positive pressure ventilation at birth

Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: In newly born infants resuscitated with intermittent positive pressure ventilation, does PPV via an endotracheal tube as compared to a face mask reduce mortality and morbidity?
