Abstract

The development of intracardiac echo has led to an increasing appreciation of the important relationship between arrhythmia mechanism and anatomy. This review describes the anatomic structures involved in arrhythmia mechanism that may be imaged with ICE and the use of intracardiac echo to guide mapping and ablation. © 2005 Springer Science + Business Media, Inc.
