A case study of organisational response to electronic and non-electronic financial crimes

Abstract

Financial crimes are a huge problem in today's business world, and electronic financial crimes are becoming increasingly prevalent. This study, conducted in collaboration with the Victorian Police Computer Crime Squad, focuses on the reactions and responses of a large financial organization to both electronic and non electronic financial crimes, in order to understand the issues that lead to under-reporting of electronic financial crimes.
