Abstract
Abstract This work looks at the automation of the reconstruction of buildings using a handheld consumer grade video camera. We discuss our progress to date which includes: deinterlacing the video footage, automated selection of non-blurred key frames, registration of key frames using a Fast Fourier Transformation technique and tracking of points and features to be used in the bundle adjustment.
