Abstract
A nanochemical technique was used to fabricate polyaniline (PANI) inverse opals by templating ordered colloidal assemblies. Results showed that the center-to-center distance between the pores can be varied. The channel size connecting pores can be modulated by suitable selection of the size of the templated polystyrene (PS) spheres. Fabricated crystals can be used to manipulate photons in 3D hotonic bandgap (PBG) crystals.
